These are the therapeutic grade essential oils that I keep on hand continually and recommend for those who are starting out building their own remedy chest. It would be preferable to have oils on both lists for an Essential Remedy Chest, however, if I had to choose between the two, I would choose the Blends List. If necessary, start small and add to your chest as you are able.
Blends can be more cost effective if you are just starting out building your healing remedy chest and can give you a wider spectrum of use. There are times when you will want only one particular oil, but overall, I have found that most blends work well. A most powerful essential oil such as Helichrysum Italicum is very expensive, but you can gain benefit from it in blends such as Gentle Healer or Freedom. Another expensive oil is Frankincense but it has been found very effective in cancer research and treatment. Vitex is very foundational in healing and well worth the cost if needed. You may want to also include blends such as Hair Support, Skincare and/or Baby Soft if you have needs that these blends address.
For twice the price of a 5ml bottle, you can get 3 times more oil. You may also want to consider stocking up on Native Flora (pro-biotic) and Defense for an immunity builder and as an “attack” for flu, colds, etc. Many have reported very rapid results in healing when using Defense. Be sure to stock up on Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, or consider OIL & Essence’s Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO); it has an indefinite shelf life for long term storage for application of the essential oils to the body as many need to be diluted.
